Eggs are an essential ingredient in almost every household. You crack one open, throw away the shell, fry, steam, or boil it… and a delicious meal is ready. But wait — what about the eggshells? Do we simply toss them into the trash? Do they really have no other value? I began to wonder if I could do something differently — perhaps give these discarded shells a new purpose.

In this project, I experimented with combining eggshells with several chemical materials. Through many trials — and many failures — I eventually transformed waste eggshells into a versatile and valuable material with multiple applications.
