With the widespread adoption and rapid development of digital devices, people today increasingly turn to online social interactions while overlooking the value of face-to-face communication. Whether on the street or in crowded shopping malls, I have observed a growing sense of distrust and defensiveness among people. Many tend to avoid any form of interaction with strangers, and our ability to engage socially in physical space seems to be gradually deteriorating.

This project explores the design of a rentable interactive eyewear system as an alternative mode of social engagement. By shifting social interaction from a conscious, voluntary act to a more passive behavior driven by physiological instincts, the project examines the potential of design to rebuild trust, perception, and intimacy between individuals in everyday public spaces.
